Aleah Ford\, known as “Moth On The Wall\,” invites you to experience the enchanting realm of these ephemeral creatures through her meticulously crafted works. In this exhibition\, Aleah’s sculptures come to life using textiles\, wire\, faux fur\, clay\, and flocking. The sculptures are presented within shadow boxes\, reminiscent of Victorian curiosity cabinets\, inviting viewers to step back in time to an era of exploration and discovery. Each box offers a glimpse into the fascinating world of the Lepidoptera.

Each month\, we will delve into a new theme and art material\, allowing you to expand your artistic knowledge and skillset. Each creative theme project is designed to complement the current exhibitions within the museum and the colors\, shapes\, and textures of the Usuem Studio. Whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner\, our Open Studio is the perfect place to learn\, create\, and connect with other like-minded individuals in a relaxed and supportive environment. \nNo registration is required. But don’t get too comfortable! Murders afoot and we need your help in solving this grisly grain mill murder mystery. \nFollowing dinner you’ll walk to the grain silo\, the scene of the crime! Look for clues\, listen to interrogations\, interview suspects and try to outwit the annoying lead detective. \nAfter you’ve collected your clues\, you’ll return to RiverWorks once again and discover “who done it”.
