The evening will highlight Marisol: A Retrospective and pay tribute to an era that produced radically creative artists and art movements that continue to inspire us today. \nEnjoy a bubbly-filled cocktail hour\, seated three-course dinner\, and desserts prepared by the extraordinary chefs at Patina 250 along with live performances that echo the exuberance of the Swinging Sixties. In keeping with the 1960s theme\, guests are encouraged to take inspiration from the highlighted exhibitions in their gala attire. From the iconic patterns and silhouettes of Marisol’s The Party to the vivid colors of the artist’s Mi Mama y Yo\, celebrate this decade of Pop at Buffalo’s most creative black-tie gala. \nMore than a night of celebration\, the Gala is an opportunity to support the Buffalo AKG Art Museum and its mission to inspire\, educate\, and enrich our community through art.
