SUMMARY:CKY with special guests CROBOT & CHASE THE COMET
DESCRIPTION:CKY with special guests CROBOT & CHASE THE COMET\nCKY\nOnce upon a time\, CKY burned it all down\, with a raucous\, anarchic\, hard rock sound soaked in the skate-punk culture that birthed them and a hard-partying lifestyle onstage and off that decimated relationships and reputations in its wake. \nChad I Ginsburg\, the band’s guitarist and singer\, steps into the frontman role with charisma\, charm\, and bravado\, confidently delivering a diverse performance as he claims a position that was clearly rightfully his to own. \nHe’s joined in enduring partnership and musical and personal chemistry by fellow CKY cofounder\, Jess Margera\, the drummer whose extracurricular work in projects like The Company Band (with guys from Clutch and Fireball Ministry)expanded CKY’s horizons as much as Ginsburg’s solo work has as well. \nGuns N’ Roses\, Metallica\, and Deftones have all personally invited CKY on tour\, cementing a legacy as a hard-charging live act. CKY built a worldwide fanbase of dedicated acolytes\, friends\, and supporters\, lovingly dubbed the CKYAlliance\, with a broader group of musicians\, athletes\, and other creative types in the CKY family\, both literally and figuratively. \nCarver City (2009) debuted at #4 on the Hard Music charts. It was the secondCKY album to debut in the Top 50 on the Billboard 200: An Answer Can Be Found(2005) hit #35 upon its release. But if anything\, The Phoenix is a spiritual successor to CKY’s breakthrough\, Infiltrate•Destroy•Rebuild (2002)\, with a hint of the appropriately titled debut\, Volume 1 (1999). \n“We’re grown adults now with an eagle-eye perspective on who we are\, what wedo\, and how to do it right\,” Ginsburg declares\, with matter-of-fact certainty.“None of us are out there in the clouds. We’re pretty well-grounded people that have an honest perspective on where we’re at.” \nThe totality of the CKY experience is perhaps best summarized by a quote from enigmatic comic book legend\, author\, and self-proclaimed magician\, Alan Moore.“My experience of life is that it is is not divided up into genres; it’s a horrifying\, romantic\, tragic\, comical\, science-fiction cowboy detective novel. You know\, with a bit of pornography if you’re lucky.” \nMargera observes that it was “a perfect storm of events” that led to CKY becoming a pretty popular name. “When it’s happening\, you’re not paying attention. But once you get a couple of years under your belt\, you realize\,‘Holy shit\, man. That was lucky as hell that happened to us!’\, ya’ know?” \n“We’re feeling rather lucky\,” Ginsburg agrees. “We’re not taking things for granted. We’re saturated in gratitude. It’s an incredibly humbled CKY\, with a fire to last another twenty years. The point is to go play rock n’ roll and appreciate everybody else who does it\, too. It’s a lucky job to have.”

SUMMARY:Textile Curiosities
DESCRIPTION:Textile Curiosities\nStep into a world where art and nature converge in a display of faux-taxidermy moth and butterfly sculptures. Aleah Ford\, known as “Moth On The Wall\,” invites you to experience the enchanting realm of these ephemeral creatures through her meticulously crafted works. In this exhibition\, Aleah’s sculptures come to life using textiles\, wire\, faux fur\, clay\, and flocking. The sculptures are presented within shadow boxes\, reminiscent of Victorian curiosity cabinets\, inviting viewers to step back in time to an era of exploration and discovery. Each box offers a glimpse into the fascinating world of the Lepidoptera.

Below is the complete list of tour dates with supporting acts in each city. \n  \nPre-sale tickets will be available starting tomorrow\, April 4th\, at 10 AM local time. General ticket sales will begin on Friday\, April 5th\, at 10 AM local time. Link to purchase both pre-sale and general on-sale is available HERE. \n  \nThis year for Grey Day Tour 2024\, $uicideboy$ have partnered with PLUS1 for something very near and dear to the group: mental health. $1 per ticket will go towards helping those that need it the most. Ruby da Cherry and $crim are very excited about this partnership\, and this is only the beginning of their plans to give back to those that have given them so much. \n  \nSince its inception in 2019\, the Grey Day Tour has emerged as a standout and one of the “absolute coolest” summer tours\, uniting rap and hardcore genres\, while also serving as a launching pad for the first national tours for many critically acclaimed artists as well as showcasing artists from their independent label G59 Records. According to Billboard\, the Grey Day Tour has propelled the $uicideboy$ into the Top 20 rankings of highest-grossing hip-hop touring acts of all time. \n  \nCoinciding with the tour announcement\, the group has revealed the lead track “Us Vs Them” from their eagerly awaited next full-length album\, titled New World Depression\, set to release on June 14. On “Us Vs Them\,” the $uicideboy$ delve into facing tough challenges and feeling disconnected from society. Ruby da Cherry and $crim deliver verses about coping with personal struggles and maintaining one’s identity in a challenging world. The single has already been featured on official Spotify playlists\, including New Music Friday US  and landing the cover Tirade and Alternative Hip-Hop. A link to stream the single is HERE. \n  \nThroughout New World Depression\, the duo navigates themes of fame\, self-destruction\, and the relentless search for identity amidst chaos. Across the 13-track release\, their raw\, unfiltered lyrics serve as a gritty narrative of personal turmoil\, substance abuse\, and the struggle for authenticity in a world that often feels cold and indifferent. This album is an unapologetic exploration of the darker sides of human experience\, resonating with anyone who has ever felt out of place or battled with their own shadows. The album will commemorate the 10th anniversary since the formation of $uicideboy$. Album pre-save is HERE. \n  \nSince forming a decade ago in 2014\, the $uicideboy$ have prolifically shared their distinctive fusion of rap\, punk\, and trap with audiences worldwide. Starting out as pioneers of the SoundCloud Rap movement\, they have gone on to deliver a tremendous amount of music and have achieved over 20 billion all-time streams\, placing them in the Top 100 streaming artists of all time. In 2023\, they were one of Spotify’s Top Groups of 2023 and one of SoundCloud’s Top 5 Most Streamed Artists.

SUMMARY:Moontricks w/ Will Evans
DESCRIPTION:Moontricks w/ Will Evans\nMoontricks\nBased in the rustic Kootenay mountains of Western Canada\, Nathan Gurley and Sean Rodman of nationally renowned electro-folk duo Moontricks draw inspiration from the ongoing cycles of the natural world. Both volatile and constant—like nature’s best offerings—the band finds solace and beauty in the fusion of seemingly disparate elements. \nThere’s a kind of technicolor campfire quality to their uniquely hybrid sound: Each track is steeped in tradition and polished with a futuristic sheen\, mixing organic folk\, roots rock\, and old-time blues with modern electronic production. Since its initial release\, the band’s breakout hit “Home” has reached over 10 million streams\, and their original tracks have been licensed for a wide range of television networks\, including Netflix and Fox Sports. \nWith the release of their debut full-length album Currents via Westwood Recordings\, the duo reveals an ever-evolving\, cohesive blend of introspective writing\, soulful\, gritty blues\, boot-stomping basslines\, and intricate electronic arrangements. Vast\, intimate\, and dazzling\, Currents is an album about settling into feeling comfortably lost\, and being okay with not knowing it all. It’s about finding joy and inspiration in the act of seeking.
