A perfect mixture of English invasion rock\, blues\, country\, and gospel remains the unique sound of Molly Hatchet. \nThey were the hardest hitting of the Southern rock bands at the time when\, in 1978\,Epic Records released Molly Hatchet’s self-titled debut album. It reached multi-platinum status\, and the band established their reputation of working hard\, playing tough and living fast through intense touring. During this time\, they were on the road with Aerosmith\, Bob Seger\, The Rolling Stones\, and many others. \nIn1979\, Molly Hatchet’s second album Flirtin’ with Disaster was released\, and it also quickly achieved multi-platinum status. It skyrocketed the band into the stratosphere and performing an average of two hundred and fifty shows per year kept them busy. \nMollyHatchet next released Beatin’ the Odds (1980)\, followed by Take No Prisoners (1981)\, No Guts…No Glory (1983) TheDeed Is Done (1984) and Double Trouble Live (1985). \nIn 1987\, Bobby Ingram joined the band as lead guitarist and songwriter. They continued to play over two hundred dates a year. In 1989 they recorded LightningStrikes Twice on Capitol Records. The Greatest Hits album was released in 1991 and certified gold. It was followed by \nIn 1996 Devil’s Canyon (the first studio album in six years) was recorded in Hamburg\, Germany on SPV/CBH Records with producers Kalle Trapp and Bobby Ingram. Molly Hatchet continues to honor the legacies of those members who passed away (including Danny Joe Brown\, David Hlubek\, and Phil McCormack) by keeping the music alive\, performing across the United States\, and throughout the world. \nMolly Hatchet celebrated their 40th anniversary with a world tour and the release of the double CD and triple vinyl live album titled Battleground. Recorded in both Germany and Switzerland on the SPV/Steam hammer label and featuring cover art by famed artist Paul Raymond Gregory (Dio\, Uriah Heep\, Saxon)\, Battleground has garnered rave reviews by their loyal fans\, as well as the national and international press. \nAccording to Bobby Ingram\, “In recording this album\, we compiled a four-decade long catalog of songs that our friends wanted to hear. They would tell us what songs they wanted on the album\, and we would record them. Some of these songs have never been recorded on a live stage before\, and we were honored and proud to be able to perform them for many generations of past\, present\, and futureSouthern rock fans.” \nAfter forty plus years Molly Hatchet is still workin’ hard\, playin’ tough\, livin’ fast\, and Flirtin’ with Disaster!!! \nBuffalo Iron Works\n49 Illinois St Buffalo\, NY 14203 \nTickets: $30 ADV/$40 DOS\nDoors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm\nAges: 18+

SUMMARY:CIRCLES AROUND THE SUN X MIKAELA DAVIS AND SOUTHERN STAR
DESCRIPTION:Circles Around The Sun x Mikaela Davis and Southern Star together again for the first time at Buffalo Iron Works – Tuesday March 12th\, 2024! \nCircles Around The Sun \nLos Angeles-based instrumental supergroup Circles Around the Sun is a contemporary instrumental rock band\, initially formed with the purpose of creating music for “Fare Thee Well”\, a series of reunion concerts played by the surviving members of the Grateful Dead. Those shows celebrated the band’s 50th anniversary and served as their official send-off\, while Circles Around the Sun was designed to reflect the Dead’s overall spacy and groove-laden feel. After the tour\, the group released a self-titled album from the Fare Thee Well gigs\, supporting the record with their own road trip. \nThe response was so positive that they continued on with a follow-up project\, Let It Wander\, in 2018. This record was less influenced by the Dead and more free-form\, delivering on the roots influence of jazz-funk\, soul\, and fusion. The band underwent a fundamental transition in 2019. After completing the Meets Joe Russo EP and a third album\, their guitarist Neal Casal committed suicide on August 26\, 2019. He left his bandmates a note asking for them to continue in his absence– to continue recording\, touring\, and playing together. The band decided to carry on with a rotating cast of guitarists\, landing on John Lee Shannon as the permanent replacement. \nIn this metamorphosis\, Circles Around the Sun spans both heartbreak and hope. Doors close; windows open; new directions extend themselves in mysterious ways. But sometimes you know it’s real from the first beat. It just clicks. It’s just how Neal would want it. It’s Circles Around The Sun. \nBuffalo Iron Works\n49 Illinois St Buffalo\, NY 14203 \nTickets: $26 ADV/$31 DOS\n*$1 of every ticket will be donated to the Neal Casal Music Foundation\nDoors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm\nAges: 18+

All shows sold out instantly several months in advance\, and he set new attendance records at several venues along the way. \nThe new 16-track body of work explores the Grammy-nominated singer’s southern states roots that combine a litany of varied musical and literary influences that might be best described as “Zach Bryan music.” Written and produced entirely by Bryan himself\, the self-titled album features raw and unfiltered stories that speak from the heart directly to his ever-growing global fanbase. Zach Bryan boasts collaborations with Kacey Musgraves\, The Lumineers\, Sierra Ferrell\, and The War and Treaty. \nZach Bryan’s The Quittin Time Tour 2024 Dates:\nWith Special Guest: \nThe Middle East\nLevi turner\nItalics indicate Live Nation date \nMarch 06 Chicago\, IL United Center\nMarch 07 Chicago\, IL United Center\nMarch 09 Pittsburgh\, PA PPG Paints Arena\nMarch 10 Buffalo\, NY KeyBank Center\nMarch 12 State College\, PA Bryce Jordan Center\nMarch 14 Newark\, NJ Prudential Center\nMarch 15 Newark\, NJ Prudential Center\nMarch 17 Toronto\, ON Scotiabank Arena\nMarch 18 Toronto\, ON Scotiabank Arena\nMarch 20 Milwaukee\, WI Fiserv Forum\nMarch 22 Birmingham\, AL Legacy Arena at the BJCC\nMarch 25 Washington\, D.C. SUMMARY:Textile Curiosities
DESCRIPTION:Textile Curiosities\nStep into a world where art and nature converge in a display of faux-taxidermy moth and butterfly sculptures. Aleah Ford\, known as “Moth On The Wall\,” invites you to experience the enchanting realm of these ephemeral creatures through her meticulously crafted works. In this exhibition\, Aleah’s sculptures come to life using textiles\, wire\, faux fur\, clay\, and flocking. The sculptures are presented within shadow boxes\, reminiscent of Victorian curiosity cabinets\, inviting viewers to step back in time to an era of exploration and discovery. Each box offers a glimpse into the fascinating world of the Lepidoptera.
