She has worked in Modern and Contemporary Art Museums for over thirty years. In conjunction with her museum work at the Burchfield Penney Art Center\, she is the liaison between the Burchfield Penney and Buffalo State University. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Art and Design Department\, teaching classes that range from Art Education courses to Themes and Issues in Contemporary Art. Kathy contributed to the publication Academic Museums: Exhibitions and Education\, Museums\, etc.\, on ‘Peer-to-Peer Tours\,’ Buffalo State student-led tours at the Burchfield Penney. Her installation work has been exhibited nationally\, reviewed in the Los Angeles Times\, and locally exhibited at Hallwalls and King Fish Gallery.
