SUMMARY:INERTIA W/ WASTED SPACE\, SULLY & PALE HELL
DESCRIPTION:INERTIA W/ WASTED SPACE\, SULLY & PALE HELL\nInertia – The Human Element – Album Release Party takes place at Buffalo Iron Works on Friday January 12th\, 2024! \nSpecial Guests Wasted Space\, Sully & Pale Hell will join. \nInertia \nArt should have few\, if any\, constraints. This is the mantra carried by WNY metal veterans\, Inertia. \nBeginning initially as a 3 piece in 2014\, Inertia classifies themselves as “experimental technical death metal.” Having played together during the metal wave of the 2010s in Calamity from the Skies\, Kahlil Sarikey\, Doug Griffith Jr\, and Steve McIntosh are no strangers to the Buffalo heavy music scene. In 2019\, they brought in Gus Brand to round out the rhythm section; previously known for his work with local underground heros- Ishkabbible. \nDrawing from a vast array of influences\, ranging from Beneath the Massacre and Les Claypool to Explosions in the Sky and Oingo Boingo\, they mix gratuitous heaviness with thoughtful melodies. Above all else their goal is simply to have fun and make the music they want to play and hear\, which they convey with their face melting live performances. \nLate 2023 sees the release of their 3rd musical piece- The Human Element. Having spread their tentacles across the northeast\, Inertia will continue to stretch even farther. Always with the perpetual goal of playing hard and fast\, as long they have life within them and a stage to perform on. \nBuffalo Iron Works\n49 Illinois Street Buffalo\, NY 14203 \nTickets: $12 ADV/$15 DOS\nDoors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm\nAges: 18+

The band has broken numerous boundaries\, including becoming the first rock band with a massive commercially successful hip-hop collaboration with Run DMC on “Walk This Way” and the first hard rock band to appear during a Super Bowl Halftime Show with their 2001 performance\, and in 1999\, Aerosmith became the first band to have their own themed attraction at Disney World in Florida and later Paris with the launch of the Rock ‘N’ Roller coaster starring Aerosmith. For more information\, visit Aerosmith.com. \nAbout The Black Crowes \nIn 1990\, when journalists were lamenting the death of rock\, as cheesy pop and hair metal dominated the charts\, Atlanta’s Black Crowes gave the genre a swift and much needed kick in the ass with Shake Your Money Maker. Fueled by singles “Jealous Again\,” “Twice As Hard\,” “She Talks To Angels\,” and the break-through cover of Otis Redding’s “Hard To Handle\,” the band immediately took the rock world by storm\, topping Rolling Stone’s “Best New American Band Readers Poll” in late 1990. The Black Crowes went on to release eight studio and four live albums\, selling in the tens of millions along the way; they sold out shows around the world; had legendary guitarist Jimmy Page join as a member; got kicked off a tour with ZZ Top for insulting the sponsor; got screwed by bad record deals; got married and divorced\, fought amongst themselves and against the rest of the world. \nhttps://www.keybankcenter.com/details/2024-01-16/aerosmith

SUMMARY:A SHORT WALK TO PLUTO W/ TIM BRITT BAND
DESCRIPTION:A SHORT WALK TO PLUTO W/ TIM BRITT BAND\nA Short Walk to Pluto w/ Tim Britt Band perform live at Buffalo Iron Works on Thursday January 18th\, 2024! \nA Short Walk to Pluto \nA Short Walk to Pluto is what would happen if Alanis Morissette joined Rush! Formed in 2018\, comprising members Emma Armstrong (lead vocals)\, Max Kaiser (lead guitar)\, Danny Moriana (bass guitar\, backing vocals)\, and Jake Biggs (drums and percussion)\, the band has developed a tremendous social media presence through TikTok and Instagram\, where they regularly debut original music and covers of well-known classics. \nIt was through that online presence that the band was discovered and recently endorsed by Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show. Though much of their success is owed to their social media engagement\, it is their genre-defying original music and energetic live performances (most notably at Ottawa BluesFest 2022) that have generated a loyal\, consistent\, and far reaching following. The band currently has over 700K followers on social media and 8 original music releases to date. This young and professional-sounding foursome is prepared to deliver a show that concert goers will remember for a lifetime. \nBuffalo Iron Works\n49 Illinois St Buffalo\, NY 14203 \nTickets: $20.00\nDoors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm\nAges: 18+
