Thin Ice was established in March of 2006 as a platform for local and regional artists to showcase and sell their unique creations to the community. The store offers a diverse selection of handcrafted products including one-of-a-kind jewelry, hand-formed pottery, handmade cards, hand-blown and fused glass, hand-sewn leather items, decorative wall art, kaleidoscopes, souvenirs, mugs, wind chimes, hand towels, cutting boards, books, and baby items, among many other delightful treasures.
In 2011, Thin Ice expanded its space to accommodate even more talented local artists, enhancing its collection of handmade gifts and art. Moreover, the store aims to foster a sense of community by hosting engaging store events that unite artists and the Buffalo community.
