#OnThisDay In 2017, The grand opening of the Richardson Complex takes place. Following years of renovations which started in 2006, the former asylum iopened as a hotel, restaurant and conference center named Hotel Henry.
While received glowingly by the public, Hotel Henry had to close down shop in 2020 amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic. The building was then purchased by Douglas Jemal’s Douglas Development group and reopened in 2023.
