#OnThisDay In 1939, the cornerstone of Kleinhans Music Hall is laid. The hall was designed by father-son duo Eliel and Eero Saarinen, along with F.J. and W.A. Kidd. Kleinhans is internationally famous for their outstanding acoustics and structural prowess. The music hall opened on October 12, 1940.
