#OnThisDay In 1885, The Saturn Club is founded. It was founded by 13 young men who had found their fathers’ Buffalo Club too conservative and proper. They began to meet each Saturday to play cards, growing radpidly into what it is today. The club’s headquarters is built in the Tudor Revival style and was designed by club member, Duane Lyman.
