#OnThisDay In 1862, Buffalo Fine Arts Academy founded to ensure that Buffalo has a permanent art gallery operated in different temporary locations until John Albright donated funds to build their permanent ome, becoming the Albright Art Gallery in 1905. It is now known as the Buffalo AKG Art Museum.
