#OnThisDay In 2014, Buffalo is pummeled by snowstorms beginning the morning of the 17th and lasting until the 20th. The series of blizzards was nicknamed “Snowvember” not long after. Communities south of the City of Buffalo were buried in 5-7 feet of snow, while some areas of Buffalo received a mere few inches.
