About The Country Club of Buffalo

Donald Ross showcased his brilliance in designing the golf course on the Onondaga escarpment, incorporating the unique beauty of a limestone quarry into six holes. The course features two standout holes: the sixth, nestled within an old quarry, and the 18th, bordered by a stunning natural rock garden. Originally crafted in 1926 by Ross, the course has seen enhancements by renowned architects such as Robert Trent Jones, Geoffrey St. John Cornish, and William Craig Schreiner. The Country Club of Buffalo is proud to be hosting the 2027 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amaeur and the 2032 U.S. Senior Amateur.
