The Backyard Classic in its 15th year is proud to support PUNT Buffalo’s Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, with all proceeds from the event.
This Event is unique and unlike most pond hockey tournaments, featuring full nets and goalies, bringing the real feel of the game of hockey, outdoors where it all started. Join us while we bring hockey back to its roots, outdoors, at the Buffalo Riverworks Complex, for a fun filled family friendly event.
There will be weekend long activities, Buffalo Themed and Hockey related Vendors, Live Music performing Saturday night, and the Ropes Course open for the kids before, after or in between games all weekend.
Over the last 14 years the Backyard Classic has had over 600 teams, 3,500 players with more than $280,000 donated to Western New York Charities!
