#OnThisDay In 1970, The Allman Brothers Band performs two sets at the former Aliotta’s Lounge. This concert has become infamous because following the show the band’s tour manager Twiggs Lyndon Jr. stabbed and killed the club’s owner, Angelo Aliotta. The altercation began because Aliotta stiffed them $500 of their $1000 fee to play, claiming the “first set started late”.

Did you ever know this happened in Buffalo? Do you remember Aliotta’s Lounge? Have you ever seen The Allman Brothers Band live?
