Art Alive 2023 is a great opportunity for everyone in Buffalo, New York and beyond to get creative. This annual contest invites participants of all ages to create living representations of famous works of art for amazing prizes. Whether you are an individual, family, student group, organization or community group – anyone can participate! Not only do contestants have the chance to win fantastic rewards but they also get to express their creativity in a unique way.

The truly stunning replicas, often called tableaux, are made using people, props and the participant’s own creativity. Contestants will be judged on their originality and how well they bring the artwork to life.

All activities associated with Art Alive 2023 are completely free and open to the public. It will take place on October 28th, 2023 at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum from noon – 2p.m.
