#OnThisDay In 1821, Frederick Law Olmsted was born in Hartford, Connecticut. Olmsted would go on to mastermind many of the landscape architectural marvels of the 19th century. Though known internationally for Central Park in NYC, he was mind along with Calvert Vaux behind Delaware Park, the surrounding parkways and the entire gridding of the city by Delaware Park.
