#OnThisDay In 1982, Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy is incorporated. Originally, the group had formed in 1978 as the “Buffalo Friends of Olmsted Parks”. Coinciding with the Olmsted Parks and Parkways of Buffalo being added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, the organzation was incorporated.
Olmsted Parks of Buffalo include Delaware Park, Bidwell Parkway, Front Park, MLK Jr. Park, Cazenovia Park, Riverside Park and South Park
