#OnThisDay In 1956, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivers his “The Birth of a New Age” address at the 50th Anniversary of Buffalo’s Alpha Phi Alpha chapter, held at the Statler Hotel here in Buffalo.
In King’s speech, he inspired the men to be a part of the “new age” to usher out the “old order” of segregation at home and colonialism across the globe.
