#OnThisDay In 1850, Marine Bank opens. The bank continued to change hands throughout the years, becoming Marine Trust and then Marine Midland. Marine Midland built and owned the then-named Marine Midland Tower (now Seneca One Tower) and Marine Midland Arena (Now Key Bank Center). The bank was bought by HSBC in 1980, finally being renamed in 1999.
