#OnThisDay In 1968, a group of nine Vietnam War protestors are arrested at the Unitarian Universalist Church. These men became known as “The Buffalo Nine” following this arrest. The men were taking sanctuary in the church in resistance to the draft. Lawmen burst into the church, violently removing the men, leading to protests across the city.
