#OnThisDay In 1877, the first ever professional baseball game in Buffalo is played. The Buffaloes (now knowns as the Buffalo Bisons) faced off against the Rochester team, with the game ending in a tie. The game was played at the former Prospect Skating Club, which was located on Niagara Street, in between Vermont St. and Rhode Island St.
