#OnThisDay In 1994, Influential Bassist Kristen Pfaff passes away. She was heavily influential in the 90s grunge scene that came out of Seattle in the late 80s/early 90s, performing as Hole and Janitor Joe’s respective bassists. Pfaff was the bassist for Hole’s seminal album “Live Through This” and the band later dedicated their 1997 compilation album to her. She was only 27 years old when she passed away. She is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetary, alongside other Buffalo music legends such as Rick James.

Did you know that the Kristen Pfaff was from Buffalo? Do we got any Hole fans out there?
