#OnThisDay In 1924, Paul Whiteman and his Orchestra perform at the former Broadway Auditorium. Paul Whiteman’s peak as a dance band composer was during the 20’s and 30’s, coming to perform at one of the nation’s most industrious cities at the time.
The Broadway Auditorium, commonly nicknamed the Broadway Barn, was repurposed into a hub for the Streets Dept. at some point in the last 20th century.
