#OnThisDay In 1872, The Grosvenor Library was dedicated. The Grosvenor Library, which used to stand at the corner of Franklin and Edward was a beautiful library with a tower and observatory. The building had been built one year before in 1871.

Unfortunately, the building was demolished in 1974. It’s memory lives on in the Buffalo-Erie County Library as The Grosvenor Room.

Do you or anyone you know have memories of The Grosvenor Library?
