#OnThisDay In 1880, Buffalo Evening News publishes their first issues. At first, Buffalo Evening News and Courier-Express had an agreement that the Courier would publish in the morning with the Evening News publishing in the evening. This agreement went on until around the early 1910s following the publication of the Buffalo Morning News. The Courier-Express fell to the wayside in 1982, coincidentally the same year the Evening News became what we know them as now, The Buffalo News. Currently, Buffalo News is the only large-scale print newspaper in circulation within the City of Buffalo
