#OnThisDay In 1903, Lafayette High School opens with an attendance of 1,050 students. The high school was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The beautiful is a favorite in its neighborhood, with its French Revival style and brick & terra cotta materials. The high school still operates til this day.
