#OnThisDay In 1960, The Buffalo Bills play their first ever regular season game against the New York Titans (now known as Jets) at New York City’s Polo Grounds. Both original AFL teams with Buffalo’s Ralph Wilson being one of the main catalysts of the AFL, met in this matchup during the AFL’s inaugural season. The New York Titans came away with the win, defeating the Bills 27-3.
