#OnThisDay In 1900, Buffalo Forge was incorporated. The company was founded in 1878 and manufactured blacksmith forges, drills and steam engines. At the time, Buffalo Forge was a part of the “Big Three” of blacksmith equipment manufacturers in the U.S.
In 1993, the company was acquired by Howden Group, eventually becoming Howden Buffalo and now Howden North America.
