#OnThisDay In 1924, Offerman Stadium opens. The stadium had also been known under the names Olympic Stadium, Buffalo Baseball Park and Bison Stadium. It served as the home for the Bisons until 1960. Legends of the game such as Jackie Robinson, Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron had all played at the Stadium. The site where it used to stand is now Buffalo’s Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.
