About Niagara Frontier volleyball
NISE (Niagara International Sports & Entertainment Center) is a state-of-the-art volleyball practice facility featuring four courts, currently being developed in three phases. Phase I of the project includes 350,000 square feet of event space, comprising two new 96,000-square-foot metal sports venues and approximately 313,000 square feet of repurposed mall space. This phase will also introduce batting cages, a fitness club, a sports bar and restaurant, a microbrewery, a 155,000-square-foot activity park, and an outdoor complex with 13 sports fields.
NISE is set to become Western New York’s premier destination for team sports, athletic training, and special events. The center aims to inspire active lifestyles for all ages, elevate athletic performance, and foster community connections through competition, conditioning, and collaboration.
The transformation of a 1,000,000-square-foot shopping mall into this world-class sports and activity facility is expected to attract approximately 990,000 visitors to its athletic functions, including athletes, coaches, friends, families, and event-related attendees. This number is projected to grow significantly as more athletic and non-athletic events are incorporated.
