Melissa (Missy) Crowell, the talented jewelry artist and designer, hails from Buffalo, NY, where her family has deep roots spanning six generations in the Western New York region. With a rich lineage connected to prominent figures like Charles H. Larkin, John D. Larkin, and Elbert Hubbard, Melissa brings a unique blend of artistry and economic understanding to her work.

Over the past 35 years, Melissa has established herself as a versatile artist, serving as a freelance artist, director, and coordinator of art galleries and adult education programs. Her passion for continuous growth led her back to school in 2005, where she was granted a prestigious Research and Creativity Fellowship. Not only that, she co-founded a student government organization in her major, demonstrating her dedication to empowering and uniting fellow students.

In 2008, Melissa graduated cum laude with a BFA in Metal/Jewelry Design, showcasing her creativity and dedication to her craft. Currently, she designs a captivating line of hand-fabricated silver jewelry, which she actively exhibits. Additionally, Melissa serves as an adjunct for the Buffalo State College Design Department, sharing her expertise and inspiring the next generation of designers.
