Jacquie Walker, an Emmy Award-winning anchor and reporter, has been honored with inductions into both the New York State Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame and the Buffalo Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame. In 2018, she received the prestigious Silver Circle Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for her significant contributions to the television industry and the community. Jacquie holds the record as the longest-tenured news anchor at a single station in Buffalo’s broadcast history. Having joined WIVB-TV 40 years ago, she brings a wealth of experience to the daily operations, decisions, and activities that are the lifeblood of the News 4 newsroom, shaping the course of our television and digital news coverage in Western New York.
In May 2024, Jacquie stepped down from the anchor desk but continues to be part of the News 4 team.
