About Central Amherst Little League

Central Amherst Little League offers a progressive baseball program designed to guide players from their first swings in T-Ball through competitive play in the Senior division. Beginning at age 4, kids are introduced to the game with coach pitch and machine pitch before advancing into player-pitch divisions such as AA, AAA, Majors, and Seniors for teens up to age 16. Each level is tailored with age-appropriate rules, instruction, and field sizes to ensure steady growth and development. With an emphasis on fundamentals, teamwork, and fair play, Central Amherst provides a fun, structured environment where athletes can strengthen their skills, gain confidence, and develop a lifelong passion for baseball.

Central Amherst’s travel baseball program gives young athletes the opportunity to challenge themselves beyond house play, starting at the 8U level. Players are selected through tryouts and go on to compete in regional leagues and tournaments, balancing local games with travel competition. While younger divisions continue to participate in house play, older teams focus more heavily on advanced tournament schedules. The program is designed to sharpen skills, build teamwork, and provide valuable experience against strong competition.
