About Belt Line Brewery

Beer Chugging down the Belt Line

Located at the bustling intersection of Hamburg and Swan Streets, the magnificent structure that stands before us dates back to 1910. Originally serving as the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company warehouse, it soon became synonymous with A&P, the renowned grocery store chain that once had dominated the United States from 1915 to 1975.

Fast forward to the present day, and this historic building has undergone a remarkable transformation. Now home to the Belt Line Brewery, it stands as a testament to the vibrant essence of the reborn and continually expanding Larkinville neighborhood. With its prime position along the what was once known as the Belt Line Railroad, which once encircled Buffalo, this brewery captures the spirit and intensity of a bygone era.

Stepping inside, you can’t help but be captivated by the melding of past and present. Authentic remnants of the Belt Line Railroad adorn the walls, taking you on a visual journey through time. Tall ceilings and brick remind you of a time when ornateness and quality of the 1900s. Yet, Belt Line Brewery prides itself on more than just its rich heritage. Crafted by Brewmaster Erik Greiner, their brews beautifully intertwine tradition with contemporary flavors. From crushable classics to innovative creations, there’s a beer to satisfy every palate.

Dedicated to supporting the local community, Belt Line Brewery ensures that their sourcing is as regional as their pride. Whether it’s the delectable beef from Sherman, New York, or the delightful honey used in their Honey Kolsch beer, every ingredient is thoughtfully selected from nearby producers.

So, if you’re seeking a taste of history blended with a modern craft beer experience, look no further than Belt Line Brewery. Step inside, savor the flavors, and become a part of this remarkable community.
