Lloyd H. Ligao, the visionary behind Pinoy Boi, hails from Olongapo City in the Philippines. Lloyd moved to the United States in 1997, bringing with him a rich culinary heritage. His journey in the restaurant industry began in Buffalo in 2006, where he started as a dishwasher and diligently worked his way up to become the head chef at a renowned Buffalo Italian restaurant.
For Lloyd, food has always been more than just sustenance; it’s a way to unite family and friends. This passion for culinary arts and community inspired him to establish Pinoy Boi in 2021. Pinoy Boi is more than a restaurant—it’s a labor of love that offers a delightful glimpse into Filipino cuisine.
