White Dog Vintage, formerly nestled in the charming community of North Buffalo, is a beloved vintage shop founded by Jordan Wexler. Jordan opened the store in October 2018, after spending four months transforming the space from a former hair salon into a captivating haven for vintage enthusiasts. During the renovation, she uncovered stunning architectural features long hidden from sight, including a gorgeous tin ceiling and elegant leaded glass windows. Currently, the shop resides in Allentown.
A Unique Beginning
White Dog Vintage originally began as a rental service, offering an exquisite collection of vintage china, glassware, teacups, cake stands, and other distinctive items perfect for parties, weddings, and special events. While working as a wedding coordinator and bridal show producer, Jordan noticed a growing trend towards vintage-inspired wedding decor. Couples were increasingly seeking unique, personal touches for their engagement parties, bridal showers, and wedding receptions. Recognizing this shift, she decided to provide these enchanting pieces to help create the whimsical, dreamlike settings that modern couples desired.
Establishing the Storefront
With the support of her stepfather, Tom Vetter, who had playfully suggested opening a brick-and-mortar shop after her vintage collection began taking over their basement, Jordan launched White Dog Vintage. Since opening its doors, the store has flourished within the vibrant North Buffalo community, becoming a go-to destination for anyone looking to add a touch of vintage charm to their lives.
White Dog Vintage continues to thrive, offering a curated selection of vintage treasures that bring nostalgia and elegance to any occasion.
