About the Workshop
Join the fun as we collage from life. With a palette of papers, we’ll “paint” pictures from vantage points in and around BPAC. Inspired by the exhibition, Adjacent Spaces: Paintings by Mark Lavatelli and Karen Tashjian. Their real-world depictions and points of view will jumpstart our own considerations of design and process. In this hands-on collage workshop participants will select a scene (inside or outside, weather permitting) and explore paper’s many and diverse expressive possibilities. The workshop will end with gathering back together with a group share, for those who wish to.
