Hole #1– Par 4
400/385 yards
At Shawnee Golf Course, their first hole starts with a lengthy, slight dog-leg left and is tree-lined off the tee. Good tee shots are rewarded with a wide opening to the green for your next shot. Making a par or bogey on this hole will make you quite happy.
 
Hole #2– Par 3
160/100 yards 
The second hole is their shortest test. Straight at the green will work out well with minimal trouble. Everyone has a chance for a par here.
 
Hole #3– Par 4
420/360 yards
The third hole is their longest Par 4 which features a tree-lined and narrow fairway. Difficult to say the least, yet not impossible like years past. Significant tree clearing and improved drainage have increased the opportunity for a tough par. Posting a score of 4 here means you’re going to have a great day.
 
Hole #4– Par 5
474/424 yards
Their first Par 5, provides players with numerous options. The tee shot is critical, as a decision has to be made to lay up or go for it over a large pond on the left side. Only big hitters can make it over, so usually this plays like a typical three-shot par 5. The hole is also slightly uphill which makes the approach shot a little trickier.
 
Hole #5– Par 4
390/340 yards
The fifth hole gives players a little break. It is a wide-open fairway and dead straight. A creek cuts through the fairway which is easily avoided. Shoot for a par here.
 
 
Hole #6– Par 4
350/283 yards
This is the shortest par 4 BUT not necessarily the easiest. The hole has a sharp dog-leg right starting a short distance off the tee. The tee shot requires precision to end up in the fairway. From the fairway, a good shot to the green is rewarded but a shot wayward means trouble. Keep it straight on the second shot and all will be well.
 
Hole #7– Par 3
200/190 yards
This is a long par 3 that is a tough test for every caliber of player. One of our biggest greens and helpful prevailing winds can help BUT, a par here is super.
 
Hole #8– Par 4
360/340 yards
Hole eight is a fun, dog-leg right providing the players with a wide-open tee shot to the bend in the fairway. From there, a strong and straight second shot would make all players happy. This hole has a risk/reward feeling to it as players can cut the corner for an easier second shot from there. Be careful.
 
Hole #9– Par 5
526/426 yards
This par 5 gives the players plenty of room for all their shots. However, it is a dog-leg right and quite lengthy so quality shots are required to master this finishing hole.
