- Buffalo Electric Tower: The Electric Tower is one of the most recognizable buildings in Downtown Buffalo. It was designed in the Beaux Arts style by Esenwien & Johnson. It was patterned after the Tower of Light from the Pan American Exposition.
- Darwin D. Martin House: The Martin House was built between 1903-1905 by Frank Lloyd Wright. The house contains spatial openness, horizontal planes, and cantilever construction.
- Guaranty Building: The Guaranty Building was built by Louis Sullivan in 1896 and is a designated National Historical Landmark. Sullivan wanted to build a skyscraper that was different from the other skyscrapers. Instead of using steel, he combined masonry and terracota to create a beautiful building.
