Recently we were able to get a sneak peek of the newly renovated @buffaloakgartmuseum before it opens to the public. The renovation is estimated to cost approximately $250 million and will span over 50,000 square feet of space. It features state-of-the-art exhibition spaces, five classrooms, an interior community gathering space and more than half an acre of green public outdoor space.
The Buffalo AKG Art Museum has been an integral part of the city’s culture and history for many years. With this expansion, the museum will be able to host bigger events, house more artwork, and welcome more visitors than ever before! We’re so excited for you to see it when it officially opens.
