Standing Out Against the Buffalo Crowd

Stacy Clark was born and raised in Grand Island, NY where her interest in music began. When she was a teenager, she began playing her own acoustic pop music as a teenager. After high school she attended Buffalo State College as an art major and interned at Atomic Gardens Recording Studio where her love for music grew. Many compared Stacy Clark to the next Ani DiFranco.

Stacy Clark’s Different Albums

In 2004, Stacy Clark moved to California to fully pursue her career in music. She worked with producer Ian Kirkpatrick to record EP Unusual. In 2007, she worked with Kirkpatrick again to create her album Apples & Oranges. Stacy Clark worked full-time to fund her album as she did not have a record label to help her. Many of the songs on the album have been featured on tv shows such as MTV and CBS. She also had the guest vocals of Tom Higgenson, Tim Pagnotta, and Aaron Marsh on the album.

In 2010, Clark signed a deal with Vanguard Records to produce her album, Connect the Dots.

What Stacy Clark Has Been Doing Recently

Over the past few years, Clark has dedicated her time and music to raise money for numerous charities such as Habitat for Humanity, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, PETA, and the ASPCA. Along with song-writing and donating her time to charities, she has also been a guest star on many tv shows.
