Steel Leaf Brewing Company is a dynamic craft brewery and restaurant located at 1488 Hertel Avenue in Buffalo, New York. Founded by Jeff Pitts, the brewery blends nature-inspired resilience with bold innovation, offering a diverse range of beers—from hop-forward IPAs to smooth stouts and experimental small-batch brews. The venue features a spacious taproom with seating for 75 guests, a large bar, a main dining area, an outdoor patio, and a small event space. In addition to its beer offerings, Steel Leaf serves a thoughtfully curated food menu that includes items like burgers, fried chicken, pulled pork, wings, and vegetarian options, aiming to provide a full-service dining experience .

Originally established in the Eastern Hills Mall on Transit Road, Steel Leaf Brewing Company relocated to its current Hertel Avenue location in 2024. The move allowed the brewery to expand its operations and better integrate into Buffalo’s vibrant community. In early 2025, Steel Leaf further enhanced its Hertel Avenue presence by expanding into an additional 1,400 square feet of space, enabling the return of its full kitchen and the introduction of a more extensive food menu.
