#OnThisDay In 1965, The Beach Boys perform at Kleinhans Music Hall with the Frontiersmen. This was their second time at Kleinhans, playing a year prior. Notably, this was during Glen Campbell’s stint filling in for a sick Brian Wilson. Campbell filled in from December 1964 to April 1965. Funnily enough, the newspaper reported “rowdy teen-agers” had to be subdued by police and led to concerts not being held at Kleinhans for a few years. Did you get the pleasure of going to this show? Did you know Glen Campbell had once filled in for Brian Wilson? Have you ever seen the Beach Boys in concert? This Buffalo history post was brought to you by Hi-Fi Hits Records and More!
