#OnThisDay In 1977, the infamous Blizzard of ’77 begins. The legendary storm began in the late night, carrying over until February 1st. Daily wind gusts went from 46 to 69 mph, dropping 100 inches of snow in some places. What made the storm so disasterous was the snow drifts caused by constant raging winds, reaching up to 30 to 40 feet, completely covrering some homes.

Do you remember this blizzard and living through it? Have you at least heard people speak about it if not lived through it?
