#OnThisDay In 1884, The original YMCA building is dedicated at 305 Pearl St., bordered by Mohawk and Genesee Streets. It was a 5-story elaborate brick building, which was used until 1902, when the YMCA moved to their new, larger complex, which still stands. Unfortunately, in true Buffalo tradition the building, is now a parking lot, demolished by Paladino’s Ellicott Development. Did you ever get to see this building or hear about it?
