In 1995, The Buffalo Jills, cheerleaders for the Buffalo Bills overwhelming vote to becomes the first NFL Cheerleaders union. The Jills were also the first NFL Cheerleaders to go international in 2008 during the Toronto Series. Sadly, the Jills were suspended in 2014, due to five former Jills filing a lawsuit citing mistreatment and underpayment.
It’s time we get justice for our Buffalo Jills! I can’t believe its been over 10 years at this point that we’ve had Jills.
